Berlin Ring Making Workshop Tuesday 11th October

Join me at Manifesto Market for an accessible and comfortable introduction to silversmithing where you will leave with your own sterling silver ring! This is your chance to learn some interesting new skills, create your own heirloom and explore what makes something as simple as a round piece of metal so special.

I particularly encourage trans and queer people to sign up but the workshops are open to everybody and there are absolutely no skills required! I will guide you through the simple but enjoyable and sometimes profound process of shaping, soldering and hammering your ring using a variety of specialised tools and techniques. Tickets are available on a Pay-What-You-Can basis so if you can afford to pay the full price of €95 then please do.

This ticket is for a workshop on Tuesday 11th at 18.00  at Manifesto Market, Potsdamer Platz, Berlin. Please arrive a couple of minutes before the start time and allow around 30 minutes per person. A fully booked workshop of 4 people will run for around 2hrs

If you have severely impacted motor skills or accessibility needs please get in touch with me beforehand so we can adapt the workshop to best suit you.

Run by Finch Honeker of Studio Hock; A deep rooted love for handcraft combines with DIY queer politics to create spaces and pieces imbued with intention and care alongside a holistic approach to sustainability. With over 15 years in the jewellery industry and an education both as an apprentice and at the Birmingham School of Jewellery I have a solid bank of knowledge and experience. I find these workshops hugely rewarding and hope to see you at one!
